As Senior DirecÂtor of InteÂgratÂed FundraisÂing for San Diego FounÂdaÂtion, Jeff Spitko leads the develÂopÂment of innoÂvÂaÂtive, mulÂtiÂchanÂnel fundraisÂing strateÂgies to acquire, stewÂard, and retain donors. Through traÂdiÂtionÂal and digÂiÂtal chanÂnels, he focusÂes on creÂatÂing strateÂgiÂcalÂly coorÂdiÂnatÂed donor jourÂneys that driÂve fundraisÂing to supÂport San Diego Foundation’s operÂaÂtions, impact, and key iniÂtiaÂtives such as NationÂal RainÂbow ColÂlege Fund.
PriÂor to joinÂing San Diego FounÂdaÂtion, Jeff was the DirecÂtor of MemÂberÂship & AudiÂence ManÂageÂment for San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. In his role, he led the acquiÂsiÂtion, retenÂtion, and culÂtiÂvaÂtion strateÂgies for the organization’s mass marÂket donors, monthÂly givÂing susÂtainÂers, VIPs, and memÂberÂship base of approxÂiÂmateÂly 400,000 indiÂvidÂuÂals.
Spitko also preÂviÂousÂly served as the Chief MarÂketÂing OffiÂcer at the LGBTQ VicÂtoÂry Fund & InstiÂtute, a nonÂprofÂit and politÂiÂcal action comÂmitÂtee that works to achieve and susÂtain equalÂiÂty by increasÂing the numÂber of out LGBTQ+ electÂed offiÂcials at all levÂels of govÂernÂment.
