Restricted access

Only NRCF staff and vol­un­teers who have signed con­fi­den­tial­i­ty agree­ments can access your appli­ca­tion data.

Secure communications

Dur­ing the appli­ca­tion review cycle, we com­mu­ni­cate exclu­sive­ly via email and the appli­ca­tion por­tal. Email noti­fi­ca­tions will direct you to the appli­ca­tion por­tal where you will need to login to access and view mes­sages relat­ed to your schol­ar­ship appli­ca­tion. Vol­un­teers will not con­tact you direct­ly with­out your con­sent.

Data capture

Stu­dent data is secure­ly cap­tured and processed using the Foun­dant Schol­ar­ship Life­cy­cle man­age­ment sys­tem. Giv­en the sen­si­tiv­i­ty of the NRCF pro­gram, we make every effort to safe­guard your infor­ma­tion through­out its life­cy­cle – from appli­ca­tion to award. The rainbowcollegefund.org web­site does not use cook­ies for track­ing web­site data.

Reporting and oversight

You have the right to report any unau­tho­rized con­tact or pri­va­cy con­cerns to NRCF staff. Such reports will not affect your appli­ca­tion sta­tus.

Collection of Personal Information

The Nation­al Rain­bow Col­lege Fund web­site col­lects per­son­al­ly iden­ti­fi­able infor­ma­tion, such as your e‑mail address, name, home or work address or tele­phone num­ber.

Use of Web Tracking

The Nation­al Rain­bow Col­lege Fund web­site uses cook­ie­less track­ing. Cook­ie­less track­ing is con­sid­ered pri­va­cy-friend­ly because it does not store per­son­al data on a user’s device.
